FITTING DRAIN HOPPER

A drain is a channel, conduit, or pipe designed to carry away or channel superflous liquids for disposal or reclamation. A drain assembly is one or more components of a larger mechanism that facilitates as a drain. A drain assembly component may be a pipe, stopper, pan, basket, valve, filter, plug, hose etc.

A fitting is any machine component, piping or tubing part that can attach or connect two or more larger parts. Examples are couplings, compression fittings, and piping and plumbing fittings.

A hopper is a storage container used to dispense liquids or solids through the use of a chute or tube to restrict flow, sometimes assisted by mechanical agitation or a pump.  A hopper may be refrigerated or heated.
